1. Christmas Kind Cover Program (CKCP): Spreading Holiday Joy
- 2018: Provided essential items like clothes, soap, and salt to 35 vulnerable families in Omel.
- 2019: Delivered clothes and shoes to children with nodding syndrome in Odek.
- 2020: Reached over 35 families in Omel with Christmas packages, including sugar, soap, and cooking oil.
- 2021: Distributed Christmas goodies to over 50 families in Limu and Forest Ward.
- 2022: Extended festive gifts to 52 families in Omel Lamaja.
- 2023: Brightened the holidays for 140 individuals with special Christmas presents.
2. Health Outreach: Promoting Wellness in Our Communities
- HIV/AIDS Testing and Counseling: Partnered with TASO Gulu to provide HIV/AIDS testing and counseling for 200 children and their guardians at Orchards Nursery and Primary School.
- Dental Health Services: Collaborated with Oral Health Uganda to deliver dental health services to over 300 children and their families in Omel.
3. Education Initiatives: Building a Strong Foundation for the Future
- Child Sponsorship: FOCC sponsors the education of six children, with plans to increase this number as resources allow.
- Play-Read Day: Launched a weekly Play-Read Day to encourage literacy and educational play, providing a supportive environment for children to learn and grow.










4. Children’s Spiritual Empowerment: Nurturing Faith and Character
- Children’s Conferences: Since 2019, FOCC has hosted annual children’s conferences, with over 200 children attending the inaugural event, combining fun and spiritual growth.
5. Family Empowerment: Enhancing Lives
- Water Project in Omel-Ogwari Parish: In partnership with Kristo Covenant Mission, FOCC drilled a borehole in early 2020, providing the Omel community with access to safe drinking water.
- Parenting Training: In April 2021, we trained a group of trainers on best parenting practices. These trainers now work with parents and caregivers in our communities, helping build stronger families. In May 2024, We trained over 200 parents in best parenting practices to ensure bonds between children and their parents or care givers.
6. Sustainable Initiatives: Empowering Through Skills and Agriculture
- Organic Cereals Project: Supported 140 farmers in 2023 with organic farming training, seeds, and tarpaulins. In 2024 this year, FOCC expanded the initiative to target 200 farmers, focusing on sustainable agriculture practices.
- GUMA Project: In 2023, provided skills training for 180 youths in Omel and Limu, Gulu City, equipping them with valuable skills in sanitary pad and detergent production.
- Empower You: Together with GWED-G, we trained over 2000 youths in different skills such as Liquid Soap, Bar Soap making, Shampoo, Cakes, Concretes among many others.
7. Team and Community Celebrations: Strengthening Bonds
- Annual Team Get-Togethers: FOCC holds annual celebrations to reflect on achievements, address challenges, and prepare for another year of impactful service to the community.
- Anniversary Visits: Each anniversary is marked by visits to beneficiaries, where we assess progress and continue to build lasting relationships with the families we support.
