Friends of Children Circle Uganda (FOCC Uganda): Empowering the Next Generation

At FOCC Uganda, our mission is to transform the lives of vulnerable children and families by providing holistic support through a range of impactful programs. Our initiatives are designed to address the critical needs of the communities we serve, focusing on education, health, child empowerment, and spiritual growth. Through these programs, we strive to create a safe, nurturing environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.

Key Programs and Projects

  1. Education Programs

    • Seeds of Hope Sponsorship: Providing scholarships and essential scholastic materials to ensure vulnerable children can attend school and succeed academically. Beyond financial support, this program offers mentorship and emotional guidance, fostering well-rounded development.
    • Wisdom Creation Centre: A hub for learning and creativity, offering tutoring, literacy programs, and access to technology. This center helps children develop strong academic skills and encourages creative expression, laying the foundation for lifelong success.

  2. Child Empowerment Programs

    • Street Children Outreach: Engaging street children through sports, music, drama, and Christian programs. This initiative offers hope and a path to a better future by providing education, skill-building, and emotional support.
    • Our Girls, Our Pride Project: Focused on empowering young girls through vocational training, menstrual health education, and hygiene support, ensuring they stay in school and thrive.

  3. Health Programs

    • Organic Cereals Program: Promoting sustainable agriculture and food security by training farmers in organic farming practices. This program improves nutrition and provides a stable income for families.
    • Health and Hygiene Initiatives: Providing access to healthcare, nutrition, and hygiene education to ensure the physical and mental well-being of children and their families.

  4. Child Spiritual Empowerment

    • Word Up Kids Project: Nurturing the spiritual and moral development of children through Bible study sessions, creative faith expressions, and mentorship. This program helps children grow in faith and develop strong moral values.

  • Since 2018, Friends of Children Circle (FOCC) Uganda has been dedicated to transforming lives through various impactful programs. Our Christmas Kind Cover Program has brought joy to vulnerable families by distributing essential items during the holiday season. We’ve promoted wellness through health outreach, providing HIV/AIDS testing, counseling, and dental services. Our education initiatives offer child sponsorships and literacy programs, while our Children’s Spiritual Empowerment fosters faith and moral development. Through family empowerment, we’ve provided clean water and parenting training, and our sustainable initiatives focus on organic farming and skills training.
